Principal’s Award

We are thrilled to announce that Nimrat Dhillon, Year 7 has been awarded the Principal’s Award! Congratulations to Nimrat on her well- deserved win – a brand new bike is the perfect prize for her outstanding achievement!


In September we will be adjusting the timings of the school day. Form time will now begin at 8.30am with the doors opening at 8.20am. Students will be marked as late after 8.28am. All students should arrive at 8.20am ready for an 8.30am start.

KEM Unisex Salon 

During June and July, six students took part in a six-week short course in barbering with local employer KEM Unisex Salon.  Most had never cut hair before, but by the end of the course they were able to do this task with ease while learning and developing barbering techniques with Kem.   

Think Forensic  

Students from Year 7, 8 and 9 were treated to an introduction to crime scene investigation on 19th of June.  The Think Forensic team came to the academy and delivered 50-minute sessions to students on how a crime scene investigator searches for evidence.
