At Grace Academy we have a student led Attendance Committee. These students meet at least once every half term to discuss attendance-based topics and ensure that the student voice is heard here at Grace.
The Attendance Ambassadors have welcomed staff from other Tove academies to share the work that they do. This year so far this has included, writing, and presenting assemblies, designing their own logo, writing their own attendance quotes to share with students and had their very own podcast! In the next few weeks, they will be commencing peer mentoring with students who may have a barrier to their attendance.
Their role in supporting our students is invaluable!
