Last half term saw the launch of our new ‘You are a Champion’ programme. A group of 12 Year 7 students along with parents, carers and family members joined us in the Grace library on a Wednesday after school. Marcus Rashford couldn’t be with us in person but he did allow us to share his views on ‘how to be the best version of yourself that you can be’ through his bestselling ‘You are a Champion’ book. All students earned themselves some goodies, an Amazon voucher and our end of course prize draw saw the lucky winners walk home with a Kindle Fire HD electronic tablet alongside a whole heap of resilience and new found confidence to tackle this thing called life. Well done to all involved. It was an amazing six weeks:
