World Book Day was created by UNESCO on 23rd April 1995 as a worldwide celebration of books and reading. World Book Day is marked in over 100 countries around the globe. The first World Book Day in the UK and Ireland took place in 1997 to encourage young people to discover the pleasure of reading.
Our Careers Fair is on Thursday 27 March 2025. We are welcoming parents and carers to attend between 3.00pm and 3.30pm. During this time, you can speak to representatives of the organisations in attendance about their opportunities for young people. We had a fantastic day yesterday with our visitors from the Animal Experience near Cambridge and some of their wonderful animals. As part of our transition programme and working with our local schools, we arranged for some our primaries to come in and meet an array of animals including a Royal Python, a Blue Tongued
