What will I be studying?

Psychology is the study of the relationship between behaviour, performance and mental processes. Applied psychology is the application of this knowledge in order to understand events, treat mental health issues, improve sporting performance, and understand how children develop and how to treat criminals.

What skills will I be learning?

This qualification will help you to develop a broad range of transferable skills.

  • writing up the findings of your own research
  • use case studies to explore complex or unfamiliar situations
  • carry out projects for which they have choice over the direction and outcomes
  • demonstrate practical and technical skills using appropriate processes.

Where might this lead me?
