Wellbeing Garden

“The Anti-Bullying Committee is proud to be working with Academy Leadership to promote Wellbeing within the academy for both Students and Staff. Over the next year, we aim to have built a Wellbeing Garden which aims to create a peaceful atmosphere for Students and Staff.

After conducting research, we found that a wellbeing and sensory garden has many positive benefits, such as reducing anxiety and stress. Additional research shows that sensory/wellbeing gardens provide additional foundation support to SEND students. Every student within the academy will have the opportunity to benefit from the garden. It will be a safe and peaceful environment at the back of our academy. Grace Academy Darlaston dedicates itself to providing unique experiences for students, and we as a committee aim to accommodate this with the new area outside the Academy.

If you would like additional information on the Wellbeing Garden, please do not hesitate to contact the Academy. We will keep you updated with the progress of this project.”
